1. Microchip: every pet must have the chip implanted at the time of entry and make sure the chip model meets ISO Standard 11784 or Annex A to ISO Standard 11785.


2, vaccine, Vaccination & Certificate) : pet must be immune wild dog vaccine before entry, with the exception of dogs need immune immovable vaccine (DHPPI), cats need triple vaccine (Feline 3 - in - 1), the need to mention the chip number on vaccine immunization certification. 3, Import Permit: the pet must obtain an Import Permit from the Veterinary Division in Bahrain (fax: 973 17 643373) before entering the country. When you apply for an import license, you need to provide a scanned copy of your passport, a record of your pet's injection and a copy of a valid health certificate. Normally, an import licence will be issued to the applicant within one month.

4. Goverment Health Certificate: the official Health Certificate in China is issued by entry-exit quarantine bureau, also known as "animal Health Certificate". Prior to application for health certificate, pet owners need to bring pets to officially sanctioned pet hospital with general physical examination and blood tests, after testing qualified will get the result within 7 working days, after received a medical report, pet owners should carry a medical report, photocopy of passport, ticket and other information to the local entry-exit inspection and quarantine bureau to apply for the official health certificate. The certificate is normally issued within 2 working days after the application. The official health certificate is valid for 14 days.

5. Customs clearance and change certificate: when the pet owner applies for the official health certificate, he/she will get an exit goods clearance form, which will be submitted to the airport customs. If the place where the official health certificate is issued is not the final exit port, the pet owner needs to apply for the certificate of change of form, and the certificate of change of form can be used for customs clearance at the exit port.
